Electronic Theatre Controls (ETC), makers of the industry standard Source 4 theatre lamp, have created a digital colour upgrade module. This allows a theatre group to convert their existing filament-style lamps to digital LED colour lamps. The advantages of performing this upgrade are significantly lower power requirements and unlimited colour choices. The conversion re-uses about 85% of the existing theatre lamp. We have converted a little over half of our fleet to this new technology and would like to complete our set with 10 more conversions.
